This particular day was really squashed together I saw a lot of crazy things, massive waves, shocking drivers on the road and Brenden newton. So I ended up shooting 4 locations from a wide range of areas from the northern beaches to Cronulla. I took photos twice at this particular wave of Brendo who was claiming a couple to be like shippies in the morning, it was solid probably like 8-10ft maybe even 12 ft on one. No one around just me brendo and jp. Brendo saw one wave and said he was out there, asked me how to get down there and off he went, pretty nuts, this wave and situation was typical brendo.

• Nuts 8-12ft Kegging tubes
• Odd make able one
• If you don't make it you get washed into dry rocks
• Bodyboarding it by himself
• Etch rock on and rock off
• Have to climb a cliff to get back to the car.
• Brendos froth was high he really enjoyed it I think, where for anyone else its like a nightmare.

All In all brendo is pretty much the daredevil of bodyboarding wether hes doing it for fun or for sponsors the guy is nuts which is epic! yewwwwww.

The first round of the shark island challenge was on a couple days ago, wasnt really doing it, with a dropping swell and cross shore winds making it tough for a solid comp. These pics make it look way better than it was, we got skunked. but still got a few ok ones.

Yesturday Morning I went up to whale beach waves were average but we spotted a pod of dolfins , me n jp didnt surf but this was probly better than getting some waves there this particular day.

This session above was sorta cool because the conditions in ocean where not really great for pictures the only epic thing was the light, with a slight onshore wind and dropping swell I was sorta in two minds on how the pictures would turn out. Some are a little interesting.
It was pretty cool to see brendo back home in his old training ground still frothing! yewww.

All these visuals where taken yesterday at ............ but all in the space of about 20 minutes driving, the place is so unique one particular place yesterday was mind boggling the turn off is at the caltex fuel centre where they produce all there gas, the wave we wanted to surf was about 5 minutes up the road from caltex then you go over approximately 20 speed bumbs in about a 300m distance which is pretty funny but annoying, then when you arrive you see 6 whales jumping around, the waves aren't to great so I thought id take a few sun rise pics, the gas station messed that up making it look like the place was outta space, with a moon like sun so I got a few creepy ones and then thought id look up to the sky, see stunt plans and jumbo jets frequently darting past look down at the ocean still see whales, realise that there not really kidding about the greenhouse affect, drive 15 minutes up the road and captured the first picture of this blog post that looks likes its in a national park, I'm clearly not in a national park which is sorta a major burner. ouch.
